Called “one of the greatest drummers of all time” by Rolling Stone Magazine, “The Rhythmatist” Stewart Copeland founded the legendary rock band The Police and is now a prolifically talented composer of opera, ballet, and orchestral music. He returns to The Soraya to dominate his drum kit alongside an orchestral reimagining of hits from The Police, including “Roxanne,” “Don’t Stand So Close to Me,” and “Message in a Bottle.” In 2016, Copeland’s film score for the 1925 silent film Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ wowed audiences at The Soraya. Copeland is back performing hits from one of the greatest bands of all time, arranged for 30 musicians and four singers with Copeland himself on the drums.
