- Former TED fellow and returning favorite guest artist Joshua Roman demonstrates his range, performing a selection of solo pieces including Bach, Caroline Shaw, and an original composition by Roman himself.
- A quartet of California Symphony string musicians—Concertmaster Jennifer Cho, Philip Santos (violin), Marcel Gemperli (viola), and Leighton Fong (cello)—share a lesser known gem by 19th century English composer of color Coleridge-Taylor, and Jennifer Higdon’s arrangement of Amazing Grace.
This concert is made possible by California Symphony donors, with additional support from a CARES Act grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
