Flutronix appeared live on Gratitude, a daily radio program hosted by Rachel Chan on J-Wave 81.3, Tokyo’s most popular FM broadcast station. The show’s focus is town planning and the urban development of Tokyo for 2020, Tokyo’s upcoming Olympic year, in an effort to make Tokyo a welcoming cultural epicenter. Flutronix acted as cultural ambassadors, reflecting on their experience while working and performing in Tokyo, and offering their original song Type Writer as an anthem for the 2020 Olympics. // Listen to the segment

Metropolis, Japan’s No. 1 English speaking magazine, recently featured Flutronix. The story, which highlights the duo’s latest album release, 2.0, describes Flutronix as an “excellent music adventure“. Flutronix Live in Tokyo
Flutronix went to Japan for the first time ever this summer! The duo made press appearances throughout the region in support of their first international album release, 2.0, on Village Again Records. On July 29, Flutronix presented a free live performance showcase in Tokyo at The Guinguette by MOJA, with two sets at 20:30 and 21:30. The concert featured fan favorites from 2.0 and the duo’s self-titled debut album, as well as their unique cover of Candy Candy by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. // More information
Flutronix on the Cover of Symphony Magazine
Flutronix are cover girls for the Summer 2014 issue of Symphony Magazine, the quarterly magazine of the League of American Orchestras. The duo was featured for their performance at Lincoln Center’s David Rubinstein Atrium in support of the launch of WQXR’s successful spring instrument drive. The drive collected donations of instrument from the tri-state that were distributed directly to NYC public school music programs in need. // Read the full story
